Join Cara for a fun, hands-on class that breaks holistic wellness down into something you can feel, taste, and actually use — warm foods, simple herbs, and a new way to understand your body through the lens of the energy of the seasons.
Enjoy sampling recipes and herbs so that you'll leave feeling ready to look at your kitchen pantry in a whole new way!
You’ll learn the basics of how healing works in the body through the energetics of wellness (hot/cold, wet/dry).
And you’ll learn how each of the 5 seasons (from 5 Element Chinese Medicine) shape what foods and herbs act as medicine (right food for the right time of year).
I’ll teach you how to:
understand the basic energetics of each season so you know what you’ll need to stay healthy,
figure out your personal energetics so you know what your specific body needs,
know what foods and herbs you already have in your home that are easy medicine ready to support you
tailor the herbs and foods you buy to match your energetics and those of the season.
In this Winter Wellness class, you’ll get to:
try a warming, nourishing overnight breakfast recipe (gluten-free)
enjoy a warming tea
sample herbs specific for winter wellness
learn which basic supplements and herbs are most helpful for Winter
take home a sampling of some of my easy, favorite teas to keep on hand for when you don’t feel well
ask me any of your burning questions about holistic wellness!
You'll also get a *study guide* with notes and recipe ideas!

- A warm jacket or sweater if it’s extra cold that day

Welcome to Dirt Church at Ruby Ranch!
Where the blue sky is our ceiling, the misty mountains are our altar, and the horses might just wander by to bless the circle. 🐎✨
This isn’t about sermons or shoulds. It’s about remembering how good it feels to:

We’ll gather on the land of Ruby Ranch, nestled below Mount Pisgah, surrounded by horses, wildlife, and wide-open sky. Through gentle nature connection practices, quiet reflection, and shared circle, we’ll create a little pocket of magic and belonging together.
🍵 A grounding tea will be offered, so bring your favorite mug!
Come as you are—muddy boots, big laughs, tender hearts all welcome.

something comfy/dry to sit on,

layers for mountain weather,
your sense of wonder and humor.
